The 2003 Verizon Academic All-District V College Division III Softball team was named today (May 8) by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America), and Marian College's Lexi Pegram (Brownsville, WI) has been named a member of the Second Team (District V includes: Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Manitoba, and Ontario). Pegram has been the everyday starter at second base for the LMC Tournament Champion Sabres, who are making their fourth straight NCAA appearance beginning tomorrow. She is currently hitting .244 in 31 games (30 starts), and has set career-highs in games, runs, hits, and RBI already in 2003.
