Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Tim Koepsell of Wisconsin Lutheran College
...Senior...New Ulm, Minn. (Galena H.S.)...
Koepsell was the top LMC finisher, and garnered second place overall with a time of 26:37 in the men's 8K race at the Wisconsin Private College Championships last Saturday. The Warriors finished fifth out of 14 teams, which was the highest team finish for WLC at the Wisconsin Private College Championships.

 

September 19-25
Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Carlie Wagner of Edgewood College
...Junior...Waunakee, Wis. (Waunakee H.S.)...
Competing at the Cross Country-Only National Championships hosted by St. Louis University, Wagner finished sixth place out of 50 non-NCAA Division I runners in the women's 6K event. Wagner's time of 23:50.95 was the 15th-best overall when combined with the Division I results.

 

September 12-18
Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Jon Bourke of Milwaukee School of Engineering
...Junior...Clarksville, Tenn. (St. Lawrence H.S.)...
Last Saturday in the Midwest Collegiate Meet at UW-Parkside, Bourke ran the fastest among Raider runners finishing the 8K race with a time of 28:07. His 65th place showing was ran among other teams from both NCAA divisions II and III, and NAIA from the Midwest. MSOE finished 14 of 22 teams in the mixed division field.

 

September 5-11
Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Ben Bichler of Milwaukee School of Engineering
...Freshman...Crystal Lake, Ill. (Prairie Ridge H.S.)...
Bichler helped the Raiders earn a second place finish at the Carroll College Pioneer Invite with a time of 30:00.0, good for fifth place in the event. This marks Bichler's second top-ten finish of the season, and his second consecutive Lake Michigan Conference Runner of the Week award.

Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Heather DeLany of Milwaukee School of Engineering
...Sophomore...West Bend, Wis. (West H.S.)...
DeLany finished the 5K course at the Carroll College Pioneer Invite with a time of 22:17.0, faster than any other Lake Michigan Conference competitor at the meet. Her finish placed her 19th at the event.

 

September 1-4
Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Ben Bichler of Milwaukee School of Engineering
...Freshman...Crystal Lake, Ill. (Prairie Ridge H.S.)...
The rookie runner finished 10th at the St. Norbert College Tom Barry Invitational with a time of 22:22 in his first collegiate race. The Raiders took third place in the field of 13 teams.
